Here are some of my recent works.

Bathroom

Customer’s request

The client is a couple with a child wishing to arrange and modernize the bathroom of their main house (7 m²). They wish to optimize the surface, benefit from numerous storage spaces and have multiple sources of light, in a a warm and pampering spirit, bringing pep’s in the morning.

The DéliDéco solution

DéliDéco is proposing to replace the bathtub with a glazed walk-in shower allowing the light to enter by the single window, to replace the washbasin with a vanity unit offering plenty of storage, and to modify its location. The unhooked wall released next to the new shower will be used to create shelves in which baskets natural materials will find room to add more storage possibilities. A large illuminated mirror will visually expand the space, and a towel rail next to the shower will both warm the room and provide some comfort in the shower. The chosen colors are soft and welcoming (beige, ecru, light wood), awakened by a touch of ocher locally. The materials are natural (stone, wood) and the tiling is replaced by a blond wood floor that reinforces the cocooning side.

Villa

Customer’s request

The client is a couple with two children wishing to completely renovate the ground floor of their country house in the South of France in a contemporary spirit combining natural materials and furniture / accessories in the current forms. Their wish is to create a large convivial living space opened on the garden to be arranged as well, and an office space with access on the outside that can serve as a guest room.

The DéliDéco solution

DéliDéco offers a raw and contemporary atmosphere brought by materials raw materials (natural stone, light wood), and accessories and furniture with clean forms. Multiple copper light sources warm and echo warm cream and beige hues and shades of petrol blue and blue gray that give character to the whole.
The objective is to open and to reorganize the spaces by opening up on the outside to take advantage of the light and the surrounding nature. Thus, large windows are created, opening on a terrace covered with blades of environmentally friendly wood, delimited by dry stone walls embellished with local plants. A wooden pergola with adjustable blades provides shade and hangs hammock seats to relax. The main entrance is moved to the north face to bring coherence to the traffic. The interior partitions, non-carriers, are redesigned to create a large living space including entrance, living room, living room and kitchen, while an office area annexed a bathroom adjoins a small living room at the level of the old entrance.

Student apartment

Customer’s request

The client wishes to develop the extension of his home as a furnished studio to rent to a student. He wishes to optimize the space so as to allow a complete autonomy but also to answer all the needs of the occupant (rest, meal, work), in a simple and cordial environment.

La solution DéliDéco

DéliDéco offers a “loft” atmosphere, characterized by furniture and accessories of industrial style, particularly well adapted to the student lifestyle, by the simplicity of the materials and their functionality, and the young and dynamic atmosphere that emanates from it. There are elements of glass and metal, leather (or simili), bricks and wood, in shades of black, gray and ecru, and red for the warm and welcoming. The floor space is reduced, the arrangement is done on the height, with the living rooms on the ground floor and the night / office mezzanine. In order to save space, tailor-made or special solutions for small spaces are chosen (spiral staircase with small encroachment, pocket door …). A bar plan continues the kitchen area and serves as a dining area, delineating the entrance. From a lighting point of view, glass blocks are placed at the top of the created partitions (bathroom) to optimize the natural light, mirrors are placed here and there to reflect the light, a velux is installed at the level of the mezzanine and spots are integrated under the high furniture. Finally, suspensions and a metal floor lamp provide additional light locally.
